Recent research from the Spectrem Group found that a majority of rich people (people with a net worth of $1,000,000-$5,000,000) will rely on Social Security benefits for at least 25% of their income in retirement. Unfortunately, the same study found that only about 1/3 of these individuals talked about Social Security with their financial adviser.
